Professional Bucking Bull Association Galax, VA

Lyman, SC, May 20, 2008–Jason and Lacey Roberts produced the Galax, VA PBBA event deep in the heart of the VA Mountains.  The cool mountain air had the bulls feeling rank and the contractors pumped.

Twenty four bulls competed in Galax and after the dust settled the champion bull was D10 Ruby Red belonging to Dell & Donna Elrod. Their red bull is proving himself to be the bull to try and beat. His score of 177.50 earned the Elrod’s a first place check and a free 100 straw collection donated by Russ Princ with Gen Ex Alabama. 

Kevin Schumacher of Ohio brought his bull #34 Katy Did It, who placed second with a score of 176.  Third place went to #822 Land Law with a score of 174.75 entered by Ernie Treadway and Jeff Robinson. Charlie Oldham’s bull 109 Mimjami earned a score of 174.25 and a fourth place check.  Fifth place went to Clay Ellison’s bull 566 Rock Star with a score of 173.25.  

The Galax, VA PBBA event was also a Southern Extreme Bull Riding Association (SEBRA) event.  The SEBRA bull riders had their hands full with these top PBBA competition bulls.  The fans were on the edge of their seats during both performances as both the bulls and cowboys competed.  To learn more about SEBRA visit www.sebranow.com.
