I read this article as someone looking for ideas & trying to open up some discussion about the future of these bulls.
Read the article about the PBBA. This may be one solution. Now the author of this article can continue to compete with his bulls & if he wins a couple of events it will pay more than out money plus give his bulls some exposure.
Mike Porter is heading up the PBBA & I know he will give it all it takes to make it happen.
By the way good to see some comments on here. Reply to this

Terry, It sounds like someone had a few too many when they posted their reply (perhaps your after midnight “bar” was set a little too high). This didn’t sound like whining (“whinning”) or jealousy it sounded like pragmatic thoughts coming from a person who is more like the largest percentage of persons involved in this or most ventures. “Cowboy up?” The inference you give this makes cowboys sound a little ignorant. Out of curiosity could you quote the place, in the article, that said there was no concern or respect for the bulls? Maybe I’m misunderstanding. It sounds to me like the author was asking for suggestions or a discussion as to extending the use and better campaigning the bulls, not to their detriment but to substantiate a program that would benefit them (the livestock) and still make this a more viable business venture. I didn’t read anywhere that giving up was in question just how to better go about doing things. I read Terry’s reply as being a bit disrespectful, sorry Terry if I got that wrong & wasn't calling you ignorant, but to say that asking how to better do a job is a reason to not participate or means that you shouldn’t even be trying, just doesn’t make good sense to me. One of the posts about the new competition is more in the spirit of a helpful suggestion. Maybe there are more ideas out there like that one. Reply to this

I can't wait, Ive got a couple of 5 year old non-ABBI bulls that really buck.
